Learning to draw -- day 49-50

Edit - Apart from a few random sketches here and there, this is the last update in the 'daily drawing' schedule I had. I began to get too busy and, while I was still drawing every day, just didn't have time to keep scanning everything in. It was a fun 50 days

Day 50! *Throws party*. 50 days since I decided to start drawing, and looking back at what I started with on my first few days, I'm quite pleased with the results I've been getting lately. Yay for stuff!

At the moment I only have the line art done, and so I'm going to start working on a background next. I haven't added it in yet, but there will be a chain going from the girls hand to a collar around the demons neck.

Unfortunately I've been straining my brain on what background to use and I'm still not sure. The concept of the drawing was to have a contrast of light on the girls side (Who I named Yatzee for no real reason) and shifting to dark on the demons side. Yatzee is a demon hunter who, despite having no real powers herself, can use a chain connected to a collar which, once placed on a demon, gives her the ability to inflict pain (which subdues them). It was inherited from her demon hunting father. Much too many demons hatred though, she's always so damn happy its worse than the collar itself. She always looks on the bright side of life, and demons would rather be sent back to hell than stand another moment with her.
